Hi Friends!

I’m feeling the excitement for fall everywhere, and I’m right there with you! 🍂 I love all things fall and can’t wait for the cozy activities. This transition from summer to fall is one of my favorite times of the year. For many of you, I know it’s a hectic period with back-to-school, but the shift from summer’s hustle to fall’s slower pace feels like a welcome rest to me. Summer can feel so short, and there’s always pressure to pack in as much fun as possible. But when fall arrives, I crave the cozy, slower pace—it’s a nice chance to catch my breath.

This seasonal change, plus a great conversation with my therapist (shout out to my therapy girlies! 🙌), got me thinking about how I’ve evolved as a business owner. After more than 12 years of organizing homes and businesses, I’ve seen it all! But what I’ve learned over time is that it’s not just about the clutter, the chaos, or the piles—it’s about what’s behind it. What I’ve found is that people often lack the right systems to manage their lives and their homes effectively. That’s when I knew my work had to go deeper.

My therapist shared this Desmond Tutu quote that perfectly sums up my shift in thinking:

“There comes a point where we need to stop just pulling people out of the river. We need to go upstream and find out why they’re falling in.”

For years, I’ve helped people clean up their homes and get organized. But I realized we need to figure out why things get so disorganized in the first place. That’s when I created Purposeful Productivity, a method to help people stop “falling into the river.” It’s about building systems that prevent chaos before it happens. It’s about re-learning or de-programming habits that contribute to the chaos. We can put in better systems that support us especially during busy and stressful times.

Now, let me clear something up: Coaching is not therapy—and it’s important to know the difference. I’m not here to dive into your childhood or diagnose mental health issues. My goal is to help you set up systems, manage your time, and feel in control of your life. Here’s a quick breakdown of what coaching really is:

  • Focus on the future: Coaching helps you move forward by setting clear goals.
  • Client-led: Coaches work with people ready to make changes now.
  • Action-focused: We create steps and plans to achieve your goals.
  • Short-term: Coaching is usually faster and more results-driven.
  • Non-clinical: Coaches don’t treat mental health problems—that’s for therapists.
  • Personal growth: Coaching is about improvement and growth, not emotional healing.
  • Accountability: I’ll help you stay on track and move toward your goals.

Here’s what YOU experience working with ME:

  • Productivity with heart: I’ll help you get things done while keeping your mental well-being in check. I care about your process, not just the results.
  • Digging deeper: We’ll go beyond the surface issues and get to the root of your overwhelm, creating real, lasting change. We will identify tiny changes that can have a big impact.
  • Organized and calm: Together, we’ll organize both your space and your mind, so you can feel more in control and less stressed—even on the busiest days.

That’s how my approach has evolved, but don’t worry—I still work with clients every day, both in-person and virtually, to help them get organized. I hope this gave you a better understanding of what coaching with me looks like.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed and ready for a change, let’s connect and see how I can help! 💛
